To make sure we kick this thing off right, I'm going to go with two of my favorite breweries out there. Boulevard is based out of Kansas City, MO and is a stable when it comes to solid craft beers. They teamed up with Cigar City out of Tampa, FL and put together the Tropical Pale Ale. Taking Boulevard’s love of pale ales with Cigar City’s fruit flavors, they put together a blend of Mosaic, Citra, Lemondrop, and Azacca hops and brewed them with passionfruit and grapefruit. The result is a tan colored, citrus pale ale that is dangerously good on a summer's day.
And while your putting one of those back, check out newcomer: Leon Bridges. His debut album, Coming Home, came out a couple of months ago and is an absolute hit! His silky vocals along with that vintage Motown sound, are sure not to disappoint. Check out his rocking song 'Smooth Sailing' below:
